However, we have also transferred our seismic project management systems, expertise and experience to support potash and traditional mining industry. GeoTir is committed to promoting a healthy, safe, environmentally protected and secure workplace for its workers, contractors, the public and the environment. GeoTir is also committed to establishing and maintaining safe working practices, through proper procedures and direction. Safety and protection of the environment is the responsibility of all levels of management, contractors, and all employees.
GeoTir upholds this commitment to safety by maintaining their Certificate of Recognition (COR) by continually auditing our safety program to ensure its utmost compliance to government and industry standards. GeoTir also maintains an exceptional rating with ISNetworld and Comply Works.
All contracting companies hired by GeoTir are audited to ensure their commitment and dedication to safety meets GeoTir's standards. They must adhere, demonstrate and comply with the safe work procedures as laid out in the safety program. As a condition to work for GeoTir, all contracting companies shall hold either their COR or SECOR designation along with having proper training certification for all workers.
As leaders in the Health, Safety, and Environment field, GeoTir has developed and implemented a Barcode Smart Card system to track all workers in the field for journey management and to conduct onsite audits of safety certificate training.
GeoTir employs a fulltime Corporate Health, Safety and Environment Manager as well as a Field HSE Supervisor to oversee and maintain the health and safety of their employees and contractors and the environment. GeoTir's goal is to achieve zero lost time incidents while maintaining integrity in everything we do while using innovative processes. -

GeoTir feels that giving back to the community and supporting our own industry is very important. We are thankful for opportunites given to us, so in return, it is our pleasure to return the favor.
We do this by sponsoring the CSEG social functions Doodlespiel, Ski Spree and Doodelbug, CSPG Squash Tournament and the GUSS Squash Tournament. We also sponsor the Calgary Stampede by providing funding for scholarships.
Many of our employees volunteer their time and expertise for CSEG including the 'Light Up The World' campaign.
